Cavatappi with Creamy Pasta Sauce

This easy creamy pasta sauce made with alouette garlic and herbs spreadable cheese is the perfect option to make for a quick, light, dinner or to meal prep for lunches.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz Cavatappi Pasta
  • 1 Cup Peas fresh or frozen
  • 1/4 Cup Chopped Herbs basil and/or parsley
  • 12 oz alouette Garlic and Herbs Soft Spreadable Cheese

Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a full boil.
  • Add pasta to boiling water, stir and cook until al dente, about 8 minutes, or according to package directions.
  • Add peas for the last 2 minutes of cooking time. Drain well.
  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, whisk alouette Garlic and Herbs Soft Spreadable Cheese and cream until smooth. Cook until melted and heated through.
  • Pour sauce over pasta, add herbs and stir to coat.
